You Can’t Escape - 'From October 2006 Fire Safety will be your Responsibility'
Will you be ready? – The Government’s fire safety order comes into effect in October this year which will place significant new responsibilities on employers and building owners.
The onus will be on an employer to identify fire risks for themselves and then show how they have addressed the risks they have identified.
It is vital that all companies have complied with these new requirements. If measures have not been put in place by October 2006 organisations will become open to a prohibition notice or prosecution.
